Percussionist Konstantyn Napolov, cellist Maya Fridman, and pianist Laura Sandee all have a musical antenna for unheard-of aural worlds. Their love for contemporary composed music brought them together. Their debut CD, Obscure Atlas, featuring compositions that were written for the trio by Aart Strootman and Daniel Wohl, was enthusiastically received by media and audiences alike. ‘Exhilarating listening journeys,’ according to the Dutch daily, NRC Handelsblad.
