One of the greatest troubadour traditions can be found in very musical Mali. The minstrels, called griots, bring an ode to Malian culture and traditions. Trio Da Kali is one the modern top ensembles in the Malian griot tradition. Together with the North Sea String Quartet, Trio Da Kali breathes new life into the unique material found on Ladilikan, the album they made with Kronos Quartet in 2017.
