The French actor and filmmaker Mathieu Amalric (known, among others, for being the lead villain in James Bond and making waves at the Rotterdam Film Festival 2022) has captured John Zorn on camera for more than a dozen years by now. The soprano Barbara Hannigan is the focus of this third documentary in which she first makes contact with John Zorn and performs his composition Jumalattaret. Includes recordings made in Lisbon, Paris and, naturally, ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
