After completing Grand Atlas, a cycle in which each of the seven world continents gets its own orchestral composition, Richard Rijnvos has now created a new cycle, Kosmoscópio. The Ives Ensemble and sho-player Naomi Sato present the first two finished works in this ongoing cycle at November Music. Kosmoscópio is a series of nine compositions about Pythagoras and his ‘Harmony of the Spheres’.
