A deep bond with nature and a regained spirituality. The heart-warming music of the Australian-Dutch composer Kate Moore strikes a chord with many listeners. With minimal resources, Moore unleashes grand emotional sound panoramas of slowly shifting patterns and hypnotic insights. Now she is coming to the festival with her Herz Ensemble, founded in 2017. They are launching a program called Revolver. In her eight-part work, Moore expresses this world of movement and stasis in a very poetic way. She writes concise, intoxicating music that is composed of swirling melodies and subtle rhythmic structures.
