Humans seem to be increasingly alienated from nature, regardless of our dogged attempts to save the environment. The Dutch composer and sound artist Stef Veldhuis is fascinated by the disconnect between people and their natural surroundings. Our relationship with nature and our immediate environment changes so rapidly that we regularly need to review our connections with the earth and with nature. In his solo performance, What Worlds Make Stories, Stef Veldhuis presents his ongoing investigation into the more-than-human perspectives on the world we live in. Compositions and installations that make us aware of the intricate ties between humankind and nature, which is under threat from all sides.
