FAQ Festival is a four day festival for electronic music taking place at multiple venues throughout the city of ’s- Hertogenbosch. The festival explores electronic musics wide range, from electro-acoustic music to the more club oriented genres. Ranging from seated concerts to a club night. The festival presents work by groundbreaking composers from the early days of electronic music to upcoming talent looking at the future. In 2021 FAQ Festival joined forces with longtime befriended festival November Music. 

The originally American group Xiu Xiu currently resides in Berlin. Jamie Stewart and Angela Seo have been the core team since 2009. They make a mix of avant-pop, artfully orchestrated rock, synth-pop and noise. Reminiscent of a variety of artists such as Liars, Grouper and Deerhoof. 

Since 2015, Space is the Place (SITP) has been organizing progressive and adventurous concert series. With Amsterdam as its home base, SITP curated more than 1,000 concerts with an emphasis on jazz and improvised music. At the same time, SITP is a creative breeding ground that stimulates the scene, also by crossing genres and disciplines. Reason for this edition of FAQ Festival SITP to have one of the rooms curated with an ongoing program around improvised music and electronics. Including Jacob Maskell-Key, Raphael Vanoli & Richard van Kruysdijk, Ibelisse Guardia, Ferragutti, DJ Sniff, Mola Sylla and OJ Hoogland.

Faust, founded in 1971, is known as one of the most progressive music formations of that time. They are one of the founders of the genre that would eventually become known as Krautrock.

Keith Fullerton Whitman is a composer and recording artist based in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Initially he was mainly active in free improvised and electronic music, but over the past twenty years he has immersed himself in creating algorithmic music and generative systems. Keith Fullerton Whitman will perform his work Playthroughs at FAQ Festival.
