In his hypnotic work, Georg Friedrich Haas creates an alchemical mix of microtonal sounds, glissandi, trills and slowly evolving tension arcs. One of his last masterpieces is the almost fifty-minute long Weiter und weiter und weiter… which Haas wrote especially for Ensemble Modern. Dutch composer Mayke Nas is working on a brand new ensemble composition commissioned by November Music especially for this occasion.
