The world can feel hostile and ominous at times. But how do you stay close to yourself and find your own identity? In the impactful performance S.A.M. (Stop Annoying Me) by composer and theater maker Dyane Donck, we enter the thoughts and feelings of the sixteen-year-old main character Sam. Film, theatre, song and contemporary cello music come together in this compelling, personal performance about growing up and mental health. This third production by Donck and mezzo-soprano Els Mondelaers as co-creators is a collaboration with the versatile Cello Octet Amsterdam.
