The Spanish writer Miguel de Cervantes created an immortal character with his foolish but courageous nobleman, Don Quixote of La Mancha. The Dutch composer Patrick van Deurzen has dedicated a contemporary music drama to this legendary anti-hero. Van Deurzen has put together a true star team for Mancha Mancha! Led by DoelenEnsemble, with baritones Henk Neven and Mattijs van de Woerd in the vanguard. They are accompanied by the pianists Maarten van Veen and Hans Eijsackers.
