With her multidisciplinary project Terrarium, Irish composer Ann Cleare pays tribute to the colorful, cultural-historical landscape of her home country. Commissioned by November Music, among others, Cleare wrote a comprehensive, evening-filling musical theater work for the Irish Crash ensemble. During Terrarium, the audience is immersed in a total audiovisual experience and visitors travel to the poetic Irish countryside and hidden, ancient prehistoric sites, such as a disappeared Mesolithic lake.
