The Hague is not just ‘rock city’. Numerous contemporary composers regard it as a fertile breeding ground. The Asko|Schönberg ensemble put this creative hotbed in the spotlights. Led by conductor Greg Charette, the heartfelt connection with The Hague is put under the microscope in new works by Peter Adriaansz, Michel van der Aa, and others. The cellist Lidy Blijdorp is invited as a special guest.
