Lives that are linked through the soulful sound of the saxophone. The American saxophonist and composer Steve Coleman engages in a one-off and long-expected collaboration with the most progressive saxophone quartet in the Netherlands, the Amstel Quartet. The new piece is commissioned by November Music and the Amstel Quartet. The other piece on the program is composed by the well-known French composer Hugues Dufourt for the Amstel Quartet.
